How do you complete a record review?
To complete your record review, you must log into https://iperms.hrc.army.mil and select the Reviews tab. The Soldier view your Record guide has Record Review information beginning on page 8.
What is record review in the Army?
The purpose of conducting the Personnel Record Review is to ensure data on the Record Brief is correct and all source documents required for filing in the Army Military Human Resource Record (AMHRR) are in iPERMS.
What documents should be in iPERMS?
The first document of every batch should be an iPERMS transmittal form. NOTE: Each document uploaded or scanned for inclusion in a Soldier’s Army Military Human Resource Record (AMHRR) in iPERMS MUST contain the Soldier’s SSN or DOD ID.
How do you validate an ARB?
Soldiers review their ARB on the Reserve Component Management System (RCMS) Self-Service Site at https://selfservice.rcms.usar.army.mil. Once logged in, select My Record Brief, select View to open the ARB, and identify any missing and/or incorrect data.
Can you access Iperms without a CAC?
In order to obtain access to iPERMS, you will need to complete the required training for the role(s) that your position requires you. The iPERMS Web Based Training site requires a CAC for login. Complete only the training required for the roles that you will be requesting on the DD Form 2875.
What is a record review education?
We offer record reviews to determine whether to file a complaint. The purpose of this record review is to determine whether it would be appropriate to file a due process complaint with the California Office of Administrative Hearings or a compliance complaint with the California Department of Education.
What MOS has the highest enlistment bonus?

How long does it take Iperms to update?
Normally it will take up to 60 days after the document is uploaded by the Scan Operator. Batches annotated with “Board” will be processed within three duty days upon receipt in iPERMS.
What is Iperms army?
IPERMS is an acronym that stands for Interactive Personnel Electronics Records Management System. Simply put, IPERMS is an online database and/or information system used for storing and managing military personnel records. IPERMS is designed to eliminate the need for stockpiling paperwork and records at the unit level.
How do I obtain my dd214?
You can request a copy of the Veteran’s military records in any of these ways:
- Mail or fax a Request Pertaining to Military Records (Standard Form SF 180) to the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC).
- Write a letter to the NPRC.
- Visit the NPRC in person.
- Contact your state or county Veterans agency.
How does the Record Review work in iperms?
The Record Review is conducted to validate entries on the Record Brief, specific Entitlements on the end of month LES, and ensure substantiating/supporting documents are uploaded in iPERMS. The first five folders in the Record Review align with sections on the Record Brief.
What is the purpose of a finance Record Review?
The purpose for conducting the Finance Record Review is to ensure Soldiers have the required Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) in their record for each pay entitlement they are receiving. a) This review will be conducted using the most recent LES as the source document to identify entitlements the Soldier is receiving.
When to do a personnel and Finance Review?
a) The iPERMS’s RRT is the only authorized tool to conduct Soldier personnel and finance record reviews. b) Every Soldier is required to complete personnel and finance record reviews during in- processing to a new duty station, annually thereafter, and prior to separation from the Army.
During the review, if the Soldier is missing documents, the Record Manager must document the missing documents, attempt to obtain the documents and upload the documents to iPERMS. T/F The Soldier Unavailable Review may be performed in extreme cases where the Soldier is unavailable for a long duration.
